Steve Kulp
SVP, Corporate Operations
Steve Kulp is the SVP, Corporate Operations at Peptilogics. In this role, Steve leads the development of contracting, procurement, corporate information technology, real estate and the facilities management functions. Prior to Peptilogics, Steve served as the VP of Corporate Operations at Idera Pharmaceuticals, an immuno-oncology biotechnology company.
At Idera, Steve was responsible for aligning business operations and technology with operating plans and long-term corporate strategy. He was responsible for the build out and management of multiple corporate sites including biology, chemistry, analytical labs and a vivarium. In addition to this, Steve also led the development of the Idera information technology portfolio and network focused on collaboration, security, process efficiency and redundancy. Steve’s team was responsible for meeting all compliance requirements for a a publicly trade company including Sarbanes-Oxley, EH&S (environmental health and safety) and validated GxP systems.
Prior to Idera, Steve worked at ViroPharma where he was the Head of Business Systems and Service Strategy. ViroPharma was a global commercial life sciences company specializing in treating patients with rare diseases. In this role, he was responsible for global teams that implemented and supported business systems from non-clinical through commercial. In 2014, ViroPharma was acquired by Shire plc. and Steve was asked by Shire to lead the integration efforts of ViroPharma IT systems into the overall Shire portfolio. While at Shire, Steve also took on the role as Head of IT Transformation where he led an enterprise-wide initiative focused on improving IT operations and reducing IT spend. Steve holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Juniata College.
